Economic promotion of Morocco

Held in Casablanca under the High Patronage of King Mohamed VI, the third edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum was an opportunity to highlight the economic dynamism of the Moroccan territory and the Casablanca-Settat Region. The keynote speeches by Aziz Akhannouch (Head of Government, Kingdom of Morocco), Abdellatif Mâzouz (President, Casablanca-Settat Region), Chakib Alj (President, General Confederation of Moroccan Businesses) and the Invest in Morocco – Casablanca-Settat Region Focus session were an opportunity to explore the economic opportunities on a regional and national scale.

Choiseul Africa Awards

For the first time this year, four Choiseul Africa Awards were presented to organisations and leaders who are driving African economic dynamism, during a ceremony that closed a day full of exchanges and debates.

Madagascar in the spotlight

Madagascar was in the spotlight at this third edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum. The President of the Republic, Andry Rajoelina made the trip accompanied by a ministerial delegation and Malagasy business leaders. The President intervened during the opening ceremony of the Forum and the Invest in Madagascar panel, co-organised with the Filatex group.

The panel was an opportunity to present the numerous investment and development opportunities offered by the island.

Intercontinental cooperation

With more than 60 countries represented, the Choiseul Africa Business Forum has established itself as an essential platform for intercontinental dialogue between the African, European and Gulf business communities.

Sharing their experiences and exchanging views on the major trends at work in the African business world, business leaders, heads of state and ministers, international donors and representatives of the business community explore together the synergies and opportunities to continue building major links between our continents.

Panels

More than 700 of the most influential decision-makers and business leaders from Africa, Europe and the Gulf gathered around 13 working sessions that put Africa at the heart of the debate. From infrastructure financing models on the African continent to the challenges of digital transformation of SMEs and the employment of youth on the continent, these are all the topics that were addressed during these days of exchange.

Networking

Through working sessions and dedicated meetings, the Choiseul Africa Business Forum has established itself since its first edition in 2019 as a pan-African reference event conducive to meetings and interactions between economic actors from Africa, Europe, and the Gulf.
