Ivory Coast in the spotlight

Ivory Coast was in the spotlight for this first edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum. Esmel Emmanuel Essis, the Secretary of State in charge of the Promotion of Private Investment, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the forum and also took part in a roundtable dedicated to opportunities in Ivory Coast. 

Women’s leadership:
when women reach new heights

Women’s leadership was at the heart of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum as part of a plenary session dedicated to the initiative of women on the African continent, and gathering Maria Luisa Perdigao Abrantes, Fatma Samoura, Maty Diouf, Nayé A. Bathily, Leila Bouamatou and Patricia Nzolantima with one goal: highlighting the success of female leaders! 

A wide range of topics

In total, some twenty sectorial working sections were designed to foster debate and exchanges on value-creation topics. Held in an interactive mode, those sessions enabled to facilitate contacts in the business sectors that are key to African growth.

Highlight on Sport Business

A working session was dedicated to sport business and gathered some key actors of the sector. Ahmad Ahmad, the Chairman of the Confederation of African Football, attended the forum with his special advisor Samuel Eto’o.

The Choiseul Africa Business Forum was the occasion to present the sixth edition of the Choiseul 100 Africa and hear the speech delivered by Kabiru Rabiu, the Managing Director of BUA Group, who topped the 2019 ranking.

Algeria highly represented
at the first edition of the forum

An important delegation of Algerian business leaders attended the Choiseul Africa Business Forum, led by Sami Agli, the new Chairman of the Algerian Business Leaders Forum (FCE) and CEO of AGLI group.
