Basil El Baz
Launching Egypt Basic Industries Company, the first ammonia company in Egypt, while he was still studying in Harvard, Basil El Baz is the CEO of Carbon Holdings, an oil and gas group which runs two petrochemical factories: Egypt Hydrocarbon Corporation and Oriental Petrochemicals Corporation. Carbon Holdings is also developing an industrial complex project worth more than $10 billion.
